ABOUT ME
Since childhood I am strongly driven by finding beautiful things and developing my own particular style.
I am a collector at heart and have a great love for midcentury modern furniture and design classics. A deep-rooted fascination for Japanese culture contributed to looking at things in a certain way and to strive for a sense of unity and balance.
Although aesthetics always played a big role in my life, it took a while before I actually felt the confidence to follow this path. With my background in sociology of arts and culture I have worked behind the scenes in the cultural field for years. A beautiful world, which is deeply interwoven with who I am - but could not embrace all of my personality.
When the opportunity arose to transform a part of an old school building into a loft apartment, something sparked up in me that I wanted more from. I discovered talents that had never been used before. Also, I noticed that family and friends asked me for interior related advice or help finding special pieces of furniture, more and more.
Eventually I decided to pursue a program in interior design to complement my skills and getting to know more people in the field. What started as a hobby is now turning into a new carreer. I love helping people to create a beautiful, inspiring interior with a sense of aesthetics and spaciousness.
A space that is a reflection of ones own personality and where special pieces have room to shine.
