INTERIOR DESIGN

Here you can find some of my favourite real life results of my work. My style is best described as: eclectic, playful and spatial. Integrating art, plants and vintage pieces as much as possible. I also love using Japanese and midcentury modern elements.

I am not satisfied until all elements are balanced and radiate a sense of peace and beauty, stimulate the senses and give space to warmth and playfulness!

RENDERINGS

I'm excited to explore all the new possibilities in the world of rendering. It really brings my digital 3D designs to life.

MOODBOARDS

All moodboards here are made by hand, because I really like the different textures of paper and the artisanal vibe it has to it. I mostly use art, fashion or photography magazines or postcards. Sometimes I add my own printed pictures as well. I prefer making abstract moodboards, as there is more freedom in interpretation when making the translation into an interior concept.

DRAWINGS

As much as I love the physicality of making analogue paintings and drawings, I am growing more and more into the possiblities that SketchUp can offer to the design process. Especially when researching quickly the ultimate flow of movement in a space, the distribution of light and framing different angles. Please find a selection of my rendering work in the section 'renderings'.

Color Combinations

All my color palettes are made by hand as well. Of course by using real paint samples. Creating an interesting color combination requires a lot of research and experiment. It sometimes can be a real struggle to find the right balance. I am really glad when I finally can feel a certain tension and connection between the chosen colors.

MATERIAL STUDIES

Finding the perfect materials for a project is so much fun. All those exciting textures really bring the design to another level.

Aware of the urgency and responsibility to minimize our footprint, I strive to make sustainable choices where possible throughout the entire design process.
